Hello guys,

This halloween I decided to do as many face paint as I can until the day of halloween come. Since last year, halloween has been my favorite day of the month because its the only day where I can do a scary face paint and do photoshoot with it. Its excite me because I always love face paint (not a pretty one) and the only normal way I can do it is for halloween. This year I decided to go for 4 face paint look (all face paint with no makeup combined) because due to the hectic tasks I got from college. I wanted to 30 looks for 30 days of October but I realize I just don't have the time to do it. Thank you college. So the only time for me to buy all the necessities is on Thursday which is H-4 to halloween. That is why I decided to only do 4 face paint looks.

The first face paint looks is inspired by an Indonesian youtuber (username: cinderella). 

It's not the exact thing because she use shadows for almost entire of her face with only a little face paint on it. While me, I don't use any shadows because like I said before I only use face paint. So, it you try to differentiate between the two looks it will look totally different and you might think that I failed to copy the looks, but no, maybe yes hahahaha. Shadows that she used makes her looks more soft and face paint that I used makes my looks more harsh and that's what I aiming. After all it's halloween and scary it is right?

I did the face paint with my best friend, and her looks was inspired by a cashmere cat. Its not a cashmere cat, it is only "inspired" by it. And it turns out to be like Valak on Conjuring 2 HAHAHA

She was DAMN scary tho. 

It is an inside joke but it is so funny because her name is Vela, I got to call her Velak with an additional "K" behind so its like Valak to Velak HAHAHAHA 

I edit the picture in black and white because it is scarier that way. But I also got you guys the colored one, so here it is <3

HAPPY “CAP GOME" PIPOOOLLL!! Finally after a long day, Chinese New Year finally passed and I can finally do some shopping again. Well it is just some kind of tradition where you have to wait fifteen days and you cannot buy things like shoes and skirts because it still count as Chinese New Year. Actually you don’t have to “actually” follow this tradition, but I can use this as my excuses to stay thrifty. Let’s go back to 8th of February to see what me and my family wear on Chinese New Year :D

Before that let’s talk about the night before Chinese New Year, I don’t know whether it is a tradition or no, but my family always have a Chinese New Year dinner on the night before the actual event. I only wear this new stripes t-shirt and white high waist shorts that both I bought from Stradivarius.

 Quality time with a family is the most important thing to do.

This year I want to keep it simple, I bought a white simple dress from Mango as my primary dress. Since we have to have some red in Chinese New Year to bring good luck for ourselves, I pair my simple white dress with a red high heels that I bought from Bershka. This year I didn’t manage to bought any bag, so I wear my not so new clutch from Tory Burch. This simple outfits I made it more glamour with a necklace that I bought from China. 

For my sister outfits, she wear this so beautiful chongsam dress in blue and white that she bought in Mangga Dua. Who knew those place would sell such a beautiful dress? She pair it with a blue bag from an Indonesian brand called Richelle, we bought it on a bazaar at Mall Kelapa Gading. Well at least she wear red lipstick so she still have those touches of red. My little sister, wore a red playsuit from Zara that we bought 1 day before “d-day” so lucky. She pair it with a Play No More bag that me, my sister, my cousins, and my boyfriend bought for her for her 15th birthday presents. For my mom and my dad, I have no idea what kind of brand or where they buy their outfits, because I wasn’t there when they bought their outfits.

For day one make-up, I put a sense of pink to make my face more cheerful, sweet, and mature.

For the nails, it’s a little bit off because I tried to tell the person who made my nails to make it look alike like the picture that I gave her. But it turned out this way, but it still okay.

Look at my “Bule” cousins holding those red envelope and red dresses. I’m so happy looking at these picture because that means that they still have those inner Chinese tradition to hold. 

I spill my food on my white dress when I was eating, so I need to have a quick change of outfits. I don’t have the picture because it was already late, so I only take a selfie with only the top can be seen. The top is a Korean brand that I bought from Lotte Shopping Avenue. But it’s actually a simple outfit because I only pair it with a black high waist short.

Day two is not so crowded like the other day. I wore this long shirt dress that I bought from Mangga Dua, again Mangga Dua is my FAVORITE place to go shopping, either it is to bought DVD, or outfits. I pair it with my sister blue blag, because it match my blue brooch that came as one set with the shirt dress.

For day two make-up, I put a sense of brown/orange/or matte to make my face more elegant and more mature.

Chinese New Year day 2 fall on 9th of February which means it is Febby’s Birthday HOORAY. Happy belated birthday my twin sister.

Finally it comes to an end when Chinese New Year finally over. I don’t have anymore new outfits because I already wear it all. But for this outfits I remember only wear it once, so I pick those outfits and combine it all together. For the tops, my mom bought it for me when she went to US so I don’t really know the brand and for the button skirt, I bought it on Stradivarius. I spend my cap gome day visiting the temple and pray. That’s all.

I just came home from Bandung after doing my "self" photoshoot yesterday with my sister and my cousins. We rent a studio for 3 hours and guess what there is no photographer so we have to take turn taking picture of each other. And we can also borrow a tripod to take the picture of three of us together with a timer inside the camera. No need a long explanation about 5W1H because I'm too excited to show you guys the results...

So here's the 5W1H, recently my cousins Vanessa found out a place to do some photoshoot for her online shop products Nerdynerd.id  and we found it cool because the place provides so many property for us to use, so we don't need to bring our own property. Actually, we have two options of places, one is cheaper than the other. But, the cheaper one gave us a small studio than the other one and so we choose the more expensive one. I don't remember the place but you can search for "rumah foto" in instagram because that's how we found the place.

I recommend for you to use a professional camera, because pocket camera won't work there. Don't worry if you don't have a tripod because you can borrow it there. They have so many background color, but because of the time given is limited we won't able to use all the background color. We don't have a photographer so we have to take turn taking picture of each other like I stated before we used timer on the tripod to take picture of 2 of us together, so I highly recommend you to bring a photographer.

It's so much fun doing this kind on "self" photoshoot, but I think I will go to the "cheaper" place if I want to do another photoshoot, because I think it will be the same only different in the size of the background and lesser property. But I also recommend this places because the man who work there is very kind to us, he willing to take picture of us together just because we tired of using the timer haha
